The Medkids Baby Board is designed to address the challenges of “high tech” neonates and infants requiring cervical immobilisation. It can be carried, placed on an incubator or attached to a stretcher. It features a pneumatic positioning device (PPD) which provides optional thoracic elevation and allows for airway insertion and stabilisation for ET placement. The strap design offers versatility to accommodate central lines, umbilical lines, chest tubes, urinary catheters and other medical equipment. The Medkids Baby Board secures small infants from 0.9 kg to 6.4 kg in flat or upright positions for transport.
