The Ferno 471 Floatation Collar is a highly buoyant collar that attaches to the model 71-series basket stretchers (see page 18) and fits around the head to keep a patient afloat safely above the water line. Affixed with eight nylon webbed straps the floatation collar is made of durable polyethylene foam covered with a nylon shell and can easily be stored inside a basket stretcher.
