The CMC Basket Stretcher Shield protects patients from further trauma during stretcher evacuations and carry outs. The shield provides the patient with protection from falling rocks and debris, inclement weather and brush without compromising access to, and visibility of, the patient’s head. The CMC Basket Stretcher Shield is tall to provide room for a patient on a backboard or stretcher insert. The mounting bracket allows the shield to fit most stretchers. Moulded of thick Lexan, the stretcher shield offers impact resistance with the clarity of glass. Weighing only 2.7kg, this basket shield is conveniently lightweight.
