Toyota Response Vehicle In rough terrain the Toyota MK5 4x4 is ideal. The MK5 4x4 modular body was redeveloped in 2002 for the mining industries and the outback hospitals and medical stations. The cab/chassis is modified to the same specifications as the Ford F series. It comes in 4.5L petrol or 4.2L diesel 5-speed manual. The construction of the modular is of aluminium with sound insulation between the inner and outer skins. The vehicle comes with waterproof and non-slip flooring which is sealed from dust. A twin airconditioner system is fitted and the vehicle has twin batteries. Twin stretchers and one medical attendant seat make up the twin berth and the Single stretcher and one medical attendant seat and two swivel seats make up the other berth plus a large full interior side locker which carries full medical equipment and oxygen - resuscitation / defibrillator equipment. The vehicle has exterior side lockers which carries equipment which is easy accessible. Ambulance warning devices and markings are available in any configuration. Click on images below to enlarge.
